AI Platform Engineering

AI for B2B Commerce

AI inside the ordering portal your dealers and distributors already use.

We engineer AI into the ordering portal your dealers and distributors already use: reorders predicted from their history, quotes drafted from e-mails and PDFs, search that understands specifications, an assistant that knows each account's prices and terms, and readiness for procurement agents.

Inside your portal, under your control

Each feature is wired into the ERP, price lists and order systems you already run, and every release is tested against your own orders and questions before a dealer sees it.

Search that reads a buyer's sentence

A buyer types the way they talk, and the portal matches it to specifications, part lists and their own order history, at their contract price.

  • AssistantYes. Your contract price applies, and the full quantity can leave the nearest depot on Thursday. Shall I add it to your open order?
  • DealerCan we have double that quantity at our contract price, delivered together?
  • AssistantWelcome back. Your last order of stainless bolts shipped complete on Monday.

An assistant that knows the account

Answers from each account's contract prices, terms, stock and open orders, and hands over to your sales desk when it should.

Quotes your sales desk approves

Quotes are drafted from e-mailed RFQs and PDFs, priced from the account's contract, and wait for a person before they are sent.

  2. Release 13Passed
  3. Release 14Held back

Every release tested first

Matching, pricing and assistant changes are checked against your own orders and questions before dealers see them, and the last good release is one step back.

What we engineer into a B2B portal

The pieces of B2B ecommerce AI we build most often. Each one connects to your ERP, price lists, stock and order history, and each one is judged on your own accounts' data.

  • Predicted reorders

Reorder suggestions built from each account's order history, seasonality and stock on hand, shown to the buyer as a ready basket they can change. Your sales team sees the same signal for accounts that have gone quiet.

  • Quote-to-order automation

Requests for quotes arrive as e-mails, PDFs and spreadsheets. We read them into structured lines, match each line to your catalogue and the account's prices, and draft a quote your sales desk approves before it is sent.

  • Search over specifications and part lists

Natural-language search across specifications, datasheets, drawings and part lists, so a buyer can describe a material, size or standard and find the right part, or the approved equivalent when it is out of stock.

  • An assistant that knows each account

A portal assistant that answers from the account's contract prices, payment terms, stock and open orders, acts only within limits you set and hands the conversation to your sales desk on topics you choose.

  • A copilot for your sales team

Account briefs before a call, draft replies to dealer e-mails, cross-sell suggestions grounded in what similar accounts buy, and order changes prepared for a rep to confirm in your CRM.

  • Availability and delivery dates

Delivery-date predictions for each line, built from stock across your depots, production schedules and carrier history, so the date a dealer sees at checkout is one your operations can keep.

  • Catalogue enrichment

Titles, attributes and units drafted from supplier sheets and legacy part codes, normalised across ranges and checked by a person before publishing, so search, filters and agents all read the same clean data.

  • Order status and changes

Order status, partial shipments, back orders and returns answered in the portal from your ERP and carrier data, with change requests routed to the right person rather than a phone queue.

  • Readiness for procurement agents

Catalogue, price and stock interfaces that a customer's procurement agent can call, with the account's contract terms, spending limits and approval rules enforced on every order an agent places.

Agent-to-agent purchasing

When the buyer is a procurement agent

Procurement teams are starting to hand routine buying to AI procurement agents that compare suppliers, ask for quotes and place orders within rules a person sets. Open standards for agent purchasing are arriving, among them Google's Universal Commerce Protocol, with its agent-to-agent bindings, and the signed mandates of Google's Agent Payments Protocol.

We make a portal readable and buyable by those agents: a machine-readable catalogue, an MCP server over prices, stock and orders, contract terms an agent can check, and approvals that stop any order outside the account's limits.

Agentic Commerce

From one feature to a portal

Dealer portal development usually starts with one feature for one group of accounts. We build it inside your stack, prove it on your own orders and hand it to your team.

  1. 01

    Scope

A short readiness sprint in your ERP, price lists and order history to choose the first feature, often reorders or quote to order, and agree how it will be judged.

  2. 02

    Build

Engineers work in your repositories and your cloud, wiring the feature into the ERP, pricing, stock and order systems your portal already uses.

  3. 03

    Prove

We test on your own orders, RFQs and dealer questions before launch, then release to a group of accounts and watch the measures you chose, with a rollback ready.

  4. 04

    Hand over

Runbooks, dashboards and a trained team. You own the code, the prompts and the evaluation set; we can stay on to run it if you want.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to change our B2B platform or ERP to add AI?

No. We build on the portal and ERP you run, whether that is Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud or a custom portal, through their APIs and in your own cloud. Each feature ships as a service your portal calls.

Which feature should we start with?

Usually the one closest to your sales desk's workload and easiest to measure: quote to order, predicted reorders or specification search. The readiness sprint compares candidates on your own data and picks one with a clear way to judge it.

How do you keep prices and terms right for each account?

Search and the assistant read prices, discounts and terms from your ERP or pricing engine at the moment of the question; they never make a price up. Answers they cannot ground are declined and passed to your sales desk, and every release is tested against your own accounts.

Can it read the RFQs and purchase orders our dealers send?

Yes. E-mails, PDFs, spreadsheets and scanned forms are read into structured lines and matched to your catalogue. Lines it cannot match with confidence are flagged for a person, and nothing reaches a customer without approval.

What are procurement agents, and do we need to prepare now?

They are AI agents that buy on behalf of a business, within rules its buyers set. The standards are still settling, so we start with what pays off either way: a clean, structured catalogue and interfaces agents can read. Agent ordering follows when your customers ask for it.

Who owns the models, prompts and data?

You do. The code, prompts, evaluation sets and any fine-tuned weights are yours, in your repositories and your cloud. We build on open or hosted base models you approve.
